Yacht Brokerage News 2008
Palma Maritime can offer you not only experience in yacht charter and management, but can advise you on the purchase of your next yacht. We currently work with many of the main yacht manufacturers, (including Beneteau, Dufour, Delphia, Comet, Salona, Jeanneau, etc) to offer you the yacht that is really right for you.
Delphia Yachts for instance, is a currently the biggest sailing yacht producer in Poland and offers the Delphia 47, 40, 37, 33, 29, 28, 26 types and 24 sport type, Sportina 600. The newest model in their range is the Delphia 47, which is available in 3, 4 and even a 5 cabin version. Palma Maritime finds these yachts good value for money, solidly constructed and comfortable sailing cruisers. We can not only advise you on all the different versions available, but can help you negotiate the best price for a new model. We have in our brokerage, a Delphia 40 with 3 cabins which was new for the 2008 season and has been such a charter success that the owner now wants to buy a 4 cabin version. This yacht is spacious for its length, easy to handle, a comfortable sailor and good value for money. We also have in our brokerage a new 2008 Delphia 40 with 4 cabins boat show model.
From the Palma Maritime fleet we have 2 sailing yachts for sale. The most popular charter yacht in our fleet, “Beluga” the Beneteau 50 with 5 cabins, is now for sale and opens to offers. This yacht was specially designed for the present owner with extra wide bunks in 2 of the cabins and an interior access to the front (5th) cabin. Although “Beluga” is from 2000, we have always maintained her to a high standard and the owner has spent over € 50.000,= in the past couple of years on keeping her up-to-date (including new genoa & main sail, new chart plotter, new gear box, new anchor winch, hull re-spray, etc). This Beneteau 50 is an ideal 5 cabin version for private use or for another couple of years in charter and private use, (for the future owner wishing to cover some of his annual costs). Also from our fleet, “ Joie de Vivre”, a spacious owner version, 3 cabin, Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 473 has just been reduced in price.
If you are looking for something totally different, you could put an offer in for the Bermudian Sloop “Selene”, built by the famous boat yard Mashford Brothers. She was built in 1936 and is the sistership of “Felicity Ann”, which was used by Ann Davidson to single-handedly cross the Atlantic in 1952/53. This little yacht is in good sailing order, with new sails and new deck and cockpit covers a real stunning little classic.
Details of used yachts to be found on our “brokerage” page.
