THE SUPERYACHT CUP PALMA 2010

Palma Maritime offers you the chance to watch this fantastic race of the gaints from a great position on the water.

 

 

Around 20 yachts have registered their interest for the 2010 regatta with a wide range of designs and sizes from 27m to 88m. Among the confirmed entries, the 2009 winner Gliss  a Briand designed and built by Royal Huisman, Shamoun (designed by Hoek and built by Claasen Jachtbouw) for their 3^rd visit and the impressive 88 metre Maltese Flacon returns to Palma. 

 

 

 

Race days are 24^th, 25^th and 26^th June. The Superyachts leave the dock from 11am till 12 noon and the staggered start is from 1pm and the hopefully the close finish will be between 4 and 6pm.Palma Maritime can offer you the following day charters on race days, starting at 10:30 am and returning around 6pm.

 

 

Sailing yacht "Joie de Vivre" an Oceanis  473 (based in Marina Port de Mallorca) is a spacious and seaworthy yacht with a large cockpit area, flat (sun) decks and the large salon and cabins, gives one the idea you are on a much larger yacht. Available for  € 150,-- per person per day charter, including skipper, fuel, lunch, wine, beer and soft drinks. Maximum of 7 guests.

If you are looking for something much more luxurious, we can offer the motor yacht "Samaric" a Monte Fino 76, based in Club de Mar.  Samaric has expansive space for up to 12 day guests, who will be looked after by the 3 crew.  The aft cockpit is a spacious area for al fresco dining and the flybridge is a fantastic area with a very large seating area and forward sun pad, separate sun loungers and teak chairs - ideal for viewing the race.

Availabe for € 650,-- per person per day charter or € 6.000,-- per day for the whole yacht.  This includes 3 crew, fuel, luxury lunch, champagne and wine.

 

 

You can of course also charter one of our yachts bareboat or with crew to watch the SuperYacht Cup regatta. For example for day charter we have available the Oyster 49 for € 1.500,-- ; or Oceanis 54 for € 1.750,-- ; or Lagoon Power 44 for € 1.850,-- including skipper and fuel.
